Cauliflower with Bread Crumbs

Here’s a simple and tasty side dish that will go with any protein of your choice!

Cauliflower with Bread Crumbs – Recipe Follows

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic chopped (optional)
  • 1/4-1/2 cup bread crumbs of your choice
  • 1-2 teaspoon of butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Boil cauliflower in large pot about 10-12 minutes or until soft. Roughly chop cauliflower. Saute onions and garlic in olive oil until soft and fragrant about 2-3 minutes. Add chopped cauliflower and mix with onions and garlic. At this point you can use a masher to break up cauliflower into smaller pieces if desired. Add butter and wait until it melts then top with bread crumbs. Mix until all is combined.
